Privacy Policy
Community Calendars.net, LLC greatly respects the importance of maintaining user privacy of the personal information submitted as part of the use of this site. This policy describes the type of information collected, its use, and its disclosure for users of this site.

Collection:
We collect certain personally identifiable information from users as part of the event submission process. This information is used only for the record keeping and editing that is required to review and post items submitted to the site. From time to time we may request certain information from you to verify identity when certain types of account-related requests are made, including support requests. Certain areas of this site, such as the "Add your event" form," "guest book" and opt in email list, use cookies (a small information file that a web server can place on a user computer) to remember your information the next time you visit the area. Use of those cookies is left to the discretion of the user, and such use falls under the umbrella of this policy as well. We will share with potential advertisers only aggregate visitor information.
If you choose to submit events and/or register to receive event listings, registration information might also be used to send you e-mails about new features and services on a CommunityCalendars.net site. We might also use this information to respond to e-mails, provide customer support, enforce our User Agreement or other similar matters.
Aggregate information is also used to help us run and maintain our site, study traffic patterns and generally learn about the usage of our site. Some of this aggregate information may be used to help us set advertising rates, determine advertising fees, and attract advertisers and co-branding partners.

IP Addresses
An IP address is a number assigned to your computer when you connect to the Internet. As part of the protocol of the Internet, web servers can identify your computer by its IP address. In addition, web servers may be able to identify the type of browser you are using or even the type of computer.
CommunityCalendars.net sites collect IP addresses and related information for the purposes of system administration, to assess the traffic to our site, to report aggregate information to our advertisers, and to maintain and improve our site. We do not link IP addresses to your personally identifiable information. We can and will use IP addresses, however, to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our terms of service or to protect our service, site, customers or others.

Disclosure:
Information provided to us will not be shared with or disclosed by us to any third party unless you have granted your permission for such use. Users who include their web site in their signatures in various parts of this site, or who provide us with their email address voluntarily as part of their event description form will have only their web site and email address disclosed. Any personally identifiable information placed on any site linked to this site is placed at the discretion of the user, and is not bound by this policy.
Certain federal, state, and local regulations may require that we disclose non-public personal information about you. In those circumstances, only the specific information requested by subpoena or court order will be provided to the requesting party, and only for their use.

Our site may contain links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the content, purpose, products, or services of those sites. Please be aware at all times that information you might provide to other sites linked to from our site is not governed by this policy. The third party sites outside the CommunityCalendars.net site are beyond CommunityCalendars.net's control. Each of these third parties may have a privacy policy different from that of CommunityCalendars.net. These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data or solicit personal information. You should review the applicable privacy policies of these third party sites before providing personally identifiable information. These links and banners may take you to sites of advertisers, sponsors and co-branding partners. Please review the privacy policies of these sites. CommunityCalendars.net is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.
